AMS (BaE Systems JV)
Problem
AMS was looking for a way of communicating a new product solution to its global sales force. The product solution was a combination of software and hardware from the company itself and a US partner and could be used in a number for different end user applications. The sales forec need to be given detailed information for their own use as well as information in a format that could be used as part of a presentation to potential customers.
Solution
Activ-STEP spent time with the product manager to understand what the real issues were before proposing the solution of a compact solution selling guide that could also be made available in an electronic format to facilitate being carried by the sales force.
Activ-STEP facilitated a series of workshops with key personnel and conducted desk based research to develop the content of the selling guide. The printed guides contained detailed information on the product solution, target markets, competitor activity, features and benefits, contact details and key sales messages. This printed guide was turned into an interactive PDF file for inclusion onto a supporting CD-ROM.
