AMS, (BAe joint venture) - Internal sales guide

 

This large corporate client was looking to produce a guide for its global sales force and major partner to highlight the selling messages and sales information for a product solution. Activ-STEP worked closely with key people at AMS to define the content and structure of the guide and held a series of workshops to extract relevant information. Activ-STEP then shaped the content and applied the corporate look and feel to the final A5 bound folder. Activ-STEP also delivered an interactive version of the guide for use on a CD-ROM.
 

Forte Lubricants Ltd. – The Good Garage Scheme National Campaign

 

This client sells engine cleaning products to the motor trade. They set-up the “Good Garage Scheme” to promote better standards within the trade and to help consumers get a consistent service from a garage they could trust. Activ-STEP has been working with Forte to deliver national marketing campaigns to drive potential garages and consumers to the GGS website. The last national campaign delivered a 100% increase in traffic to the website during the 4 week period with further enquiries from 100 garages to join the scheme. Activities have included radio ads, press ads, billboards, filling station ads, mobile ads, leaflet drop and PR.
 

AIXAM MEGA Ltd – Marketing Services

 

This client is a UK subsidiary of a French automotive manufacturer. Activ-STEP has been working closely with this client for a period of time. Initial activity focussed on channel development with improved dealer communications and recruitment initiatives. Activities have included delivery of marketing literature, online expertise, dealer packs and direct communications. Projects have included a number of direct mail campaigns returning up to ten times the initial spend and Google campaigns delivering £600,000 leads over a 60 day period.
 

Warwick District Council – Marketing Campaign / Project

 

The project successfully completed for WDC saw a whole range of marketing activity delivered in support of a campaign to promote the leisure facilities in the district; in particular the three pools and golf course. Activity included material delivered to 54,000 homes in the area, special promotional offers, enhancements to point of sale material and delivery of marketing planning sessions to key personnel. Measures on success show a 12% increase in revenue over a short period.
 

G R Mowing – Start-up marketing campaign across the Midlands

 

Activ-STEP worked closely with the owners of this new company to determine the best approach to a limited marketing budget. 300,000 leaflets were distributed to homes across the midlands during Feb / Mar, coupled with ads in small local magazines. The campaign delivered around 500 new clients to the company which enabled them to successfully launch. The company now employs 5 people and is still in its 1st year of trading.
 

Private client - Fast food franchise business case

 

A private client was looking to invest in a well known fast food franchise. Activ-STEP worked with this client to compile a suitable business plan which outlined the areas of activity required to build the business and looked at suitable locations for the business. Activ-STEP also completed a business model to allow the client to understand the parameters for his investment and gain an indication of potential payback and risk.
 

Abacus Solar - UK market research for solar energy

 

A client with a new product concept needed to have an understanding of the market. Activ-STEP compiled a detailed market report including numerous industry sources, industry trends, potential applications and current and future market size and growth projections. The research was used to feed into a business planning exercise to justify future product investment.
 

Investment syndicate - Business plan and model for new business idea

 

A group of private clients needed a business model to assess the feasibility of a new business concept. Activ-STEP worked with key members of the syndicate to understand the business opportunity and to gain knowledge of the key variables. Activ-STEP then built a custom business model which allowed the major areas of the business to be modelled providing a view of potential return on the opportunity.
 

Private client - Marketing assessment and plan

 

A private client looking to enhance their business offering was looking for assistance to plan activity and focus on some key areas of the business. Activ-STEP followed a structured approach to understanding the client’s strengths and focusing on some key target markets. Activity to move forward in those markets was planned in conjunction with the client.
